• Effectively and efficiently dispatch running trades employees (RTE) in conjunction with various labour agreements.
• Interpret and apply the applicable provisions of the running trades collective agreements.
• Enter data into the various computer applications such as, but not limited to, Crew Management Application (CMA), Nexus, Auto Crew Caller, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Makes business decisions based on priorities established by the Network Management Centre (NMC).
• Work with minimum supervision and have the ability to make decision under stressful situations.
• Handle inquiries using strong interpersonal skills with a customer focus.
• Maintain Crew Management Application records.
• Monitor RTE maximum hour clock and mandatory time on duty and rest rules.
• Be accountable for the proficient handling of other related tasks as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong, confident communicator.
• Enjoys challenges.
• Works well in a team atmosphere.
• Minimum High school diploma or GED.
• Previous dispatcher or call centre experience.
• Bilingualism would be an asset (French and English).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• The hiring process will include the following mandatory steps; information session, aptitude assessments, interview, security clearance, reference checks.
• This position is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, therefore shift work and weekend work is required.
• Training rate: $21.688 per hour (approx 7 months).
